As the bright lights of fairground world Carnivalia mesmerise the residents of LittleBigPlanet, all is not as it seems. Behind the fun and laughter of Carnivalia’s many sideshows, games and rides lurks a shadowy figure known only as The Puppeteer, controlling the funfair for his own devious ends. Accompanied by his mischievous army of Hollows – emotionless drones bent on causing chaos throughout the funfair – The Puppeteer sets about taking out his bitterness on LittleBigPlanet by stealing all of the joy and happiness from Sackboy’s creative and colourful home.

Accompanied by a cast of lovable characters – and equipped with a host of useful gadgets – Sackboy sets off to unravel the mysteries of Carnivalia and foil The Puppeteer’s dastardly plans by restoring joy to LittleBigPlanet.
