Launch into space for a gravity-defying adventure! Explore a variety of planets, collect Great Stars, and travel the universe to the Comet Observatory on a quest to stop Bowser from creating his own galaxy.
One night, under a starry sky...

It's the night of the Star Festival, and Star Bits are raining down from the sky! While everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom is celebrating, Bowser kidnaps Princess Peach and her castle, lifting them into the sky. Mario finds himself stuck in orbit!
Our hero is rescued by a starling named Luma, who leads him to the Comet Observatory, home to the mysterious Rosalina. Together, they embark on a starry adventure to save Princess Peach and stop Bowser's evil plan!
Galaxies of fun
From the Comet Observatory's various planetariums, you can reach nearby galaxies, all with unique characteristics. The more Superstars you collect, the more galaxies you can visit. Be sure to explore them all!
