Forming alliances or fighting with fellow inmates and using resources to create contraband items is expressly in violation of prison rules. Any unauthorized activity will be punished and should your body be unrecoverable upon death, you will be assigned a new one. DEATH IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR A SHORTER SENTENCE.

Rise up the ranks of a prison gang, with unique alien members, agendas and fighting styles. Unlock a gang hideout that will expand your tools and means of escape. Step on their backs to climb to the top of a social ladder and become powerful enough to face the prison system itself. Whatever gang you don’t join will become your rivals, so watch yourself out there.
- TACTICAL TURN-BASED BRAWLS
Fight other convicts, alien creatures and the prison system in fast-paced, tactical turn-based brawls. Use improvised weapons and armour, as well as your skills and allies to successfully explore the facility and avoid becoming another unrecoverable corpse.
- SOCIALISE TO SURVIVE
Earn the trust and respect of other inmates to make them your allies. Build your squad with adorable space rats and fellow gang members, do jobs for other prisoners to gain intel or materials and learn their stories. In Space Prison, you’ve got to make friends or die trying.
- CRAFTING CONTRABAND
Scavenge for scrap, destroy prison property, hunt alien vermin - all to get resources for crafting illegal tools and weapons that you or your inmates need. Find ways to keep contraband concealed to not get caught at security checkpoints, otherwise you might just lose it all.
- DEATH IS NOT AN ESCAPE
Dying in Space Prison doesn’t mean you can dodge your life sentence. Should you be taken out in the grim sidewalks by fellow prisoners, space critters or security guards, the rogue-lite recovery system will bring you back. However, your mind must be transferred into a new body, perhaps more alien than before. At least your cell is the same, all your hidden contraband exactly where you left it.
