Arma 3 è il terzo episodio del famoso FPS targato Bohemia Interactive
Questa volta lo shooter open world includerà fisica complessa, progressione del personaggio, combattimenti sottomarini, customizzazione delle armi e nubi volumetriche. Il tutto senza rinunciare ovviamente a editor, miglioramenti grafici, tonnellate di veicoli ed interi eserciti che potranno scontrarsi in un'area di gioco da 900 kilometri quadrati.

ARMA 3 è ambientato nella metà degli anni 30 del ventunesimo secolo, le forze NATO schierate sulle isole greche del mar Egeo stanno cercando di trattenere una massiccia offensiva militare iraniana proveniente dall'est. Durante la campagna in singleplayer, il giocatore vestirà i panni di un soldato delle forze speciali britanniche, il capitano Scott Miller. Inizialmente, il giocatore dovrà sopravvivere da solo dopo che le forze amiche sono state sconfitte in una operazione NATO fallita.
Durante la campagna, il giocatore dovrà affrontare di tutto: dalle missione di infiltrazione solitarie al comandare operazioni militari su larga scala. Il giocatore potrà scegliere differenti obiettivi e armamenti (come UAV, artiglieria e supporto aereo) a seconda del suo stile di gioco.
